Veuve Clicquot BOLD Woman Award 2024 Shortlist Reveal
The Veuve Clicquot Bold Community came together for the reveal of this year’s Bold Woman Award Shortlist. Announced over breakfast at One Hotel Mayfair and hosted by Bold Award Judge and former Bold Future Award winner, Sharmadean Reid, founder of the StackWorld – each of the five incredible shortlisted women shared their powerful journey to success.
Now in its 52nd year, the awards are the longest-running international accolade of its kind, showcasing outstanding UK female entrepreneurship and innovation. The Veuve Clicquot Bold Woman Awards were launched in homage to Madame Clicquot, a trailblazer in business who took over the reins after her husband’s passing, defying all odds in 1805 and securing the position of Veuve Clicquot as the well-known champagne house we know today.
Inspired by her audacious spirit, the Bold Woman and Bold Future awards measure candidates on whether they uphold Madam Clicquot’s legacy of courageous female leadership. Assessed across four key areas, the independent Bold judging panel decides on a shortlist based on whether the nominee reinvents traditions, demonstrates entrepreneurial daring, champions better representation, and maintains an ethical approach to business.
