The celebration of Maison Krug’s philosophy of ‘one plot, one wine, one ingredient’, come to life at Frog by Adam Handling in Covent Garden.
This year the ingredient chosen is the FLOWER, honouring its delicate elegance, diversity and potential, paired with this year’s new releases: Krug Grande Cuvée 172ème Édition and Krug Rosé 28ème Édition. From 8 November to 3 December, Krug’s partner and Ambassade chefs will be hosting a series of four-hand and chef bookable dinners featuring menus inspired by ‘Krug x Flower’ 2024 Single Ingredient theme paired with this year’s Krug Grande Cuvée 172éme Édition and Krug Rosé 28éme Édition and other releases.
Every single year, regardless of annual variations in climate, Maison Krug releases Grande Cuvée Édtions numbered per year since 1843. Over 10 years, the Maison has celebrated their annual Grande Cuvée Édition releases by matching them with a single ingredient. Previous Krug Single Ingredient inspired by Krug 163ème -171ème Grande Cuvées Éditions have been TOMATO (2014), POTATO (2015), EGG (2016), MUSHROOM (2017), FISH (2018), PEPPER (2019), ONION (2021), RICE (2022) and LEMON (2023).
