Introducing the Ladyburn Ha Chong-Hyun Edition

From the ultra-rare reserves of William Grant & Sons, Ladyburn Ha Chong-Hyun Edition is a symbol of Ladyburn’s 50 year legacy in whisky making.

The first Ladyburn release of the seventies has partnered with pioneering experimental contemporary artist Ha Chong-Hyun, whose early experimentalism and ‘material exploration’ helped shape the Korean Art Scene in the 1970s.

The 11 works adorning the bottles of Ladyburn Ha Chong-Hyun Editon have been personally curated by Ha Chong-Hyun in collaboration with the Seoul Kukje Gallery. Each bottle in the Ladyburn Ha Chong-Hyun collection comprises a selected piece from his ‘Conjunctions’ series, which showcases Ha Chong’s ground-breaking unconventional artistic technique that became his signature.

The launch event was hosted at 14 Cavendish in which several of Ha Chong Hyun’s rare pieces were displayed. Food at the event was catered by the incredible team from Sollip Restaurant who devised a canapé menu inspired by the liquid.
