Bloomberg Arcade Introduce Wine Car Boot to the City this September

Bloomberg Arcade will welcome the UK’s favourite nomadic wine fair, Wine Car Boot on Saturday 14th September. For one day only, Wine Car Boot will bring the very best independent wine shops, suppliers and producers to the culinary and cultural destination in London’s Square Mile.

Wine Car Boot x Bloomberg Arcade will offer a variety of wines to suit all palates alongside a delicious food offer from the nine leading independent restaurants on-site. Each stall will showcase a selection of Wine Car Boot’s favourite wines for guests to sample and buy, to drink in or take home.

Now in its 7th year, Wine Car Boot has a diverse portfolio of traders ranging from classic merchants like Berry Brother’s & Rudd and The Wine Society to contemporary specialists such as New Zealand Cellar, Dynamic Vines and Newcomer. Little-known bottles from Greece, Hungary and Georgia mingle with the very best Italian and French wines for a diverse and engaging experience.

Wine Car Boot is part of Bloomberg Arcade’s ‘Arcade Live’ series hosted within the architecturally impressive pedestrian Arcade that runs through the site of Bloomberg’s RIBA-winning European headquarters. ‘Arcade Live’ has already played host to an important installation from award-winning artist duo Ackroyd & Harvey and immersive screenings of the Summer’s most popular sporting events.

Eateries at Bloomberg Arcade include, all-day dining house-roasted coffee and cocktail bar Caravan, NY/London burger sensation Bleecker Burger, Nordic all-day dining hero Ekte, sizzling Indian barbeque tavern Brigadiers, Hawaiian sunshine-in-a-bowl restaurant Ahi Poké, award-winning pizza hangout Homeslice, the second London restaurant from Michelin-starred chef Andrew Wong, Kym’s, continental wine bar favourite Vinoteca, and home of the best Udon noodles in London, Koya.

Wine Car Boot is free to enter with guests encouraged to buy a tasting pack which includes a canvas tote, glass and five tokens to kick start their wine tasting adventure.
