Dom Pérignon presents, Assemblage: A Lenny Kravitz photo exhibition in London

Last night, Lenny Kravitz, Creative Director of Dom Pérignon celebrated the opening of his photo exhibition Assemblage, at One Park Village in Primrose Hill.

True to the spirit of Assemblage, guests from all worlds and walks of life came together to celebrate the exhibition inspired by Dom Pérignon, including Lenny Kravitz, Eva Herzigova, Poppy Delevingne,  Rina Swayama, Neneh Cherry, HRH Princess Beatrice, Erin O’Connor, Marina Diamandis, Henry Holland, Bella Freud, Bee Beardsworth, Siobhan Bell, Alice Dellal, Lady Martha Sitwell,  Sir David Adjaye, The Bloom Twins, Betty Bachz, Jaime Winstone, Kyle De Volle, Rafferty Law, Radhika Nair among other personalities from cinema, music and fashion. DJ sets from Neneh Cherry and Rina Sawayama.

THE ESSENCE OF “ASSEMBLAGE”: THE CIRCLE

Kravitz’s long-standing relationship with Dom Pérignon originates from his friendship with the Maison and through a journey of memorable creative exchanges, a shared love for creativity, passion and audacity. Over the years, Dom Pérignon has explored affinities with creative talents who inspire and influence. A tireless artist, Lenny Kravitz’s quest for continual reinvention transcends the frontiers of disciplines, cultures and generations, whether in music, photography, design or cinema.

As his first project as Creative Director for Dom Pérignon, Kravitz assembled a group of exceptional people, from different worlds, disciplines and generations, capturing fleeting and intimate moments between friends whilst enjoying Dom Pérignon. The result is an artistic project that revives the concept of a circle of exceptional people, who come together for the joy of being with one another, where ideas are inspired and take shape, and where images of fun and celebration define the moment. This iconic group of personalities include: actor Harvey Keitel, choreographer Benjamin Millepied in addition to Zoë Kravitz, Susan Sarandon, Abbey Lee, Hidetoshi Nakata and Alexander Wang.

DOM PÉRIGNON x LENNY KRAVITZ: AN INSPIRED COLLABORATION

Lenny Kravitz’s designs are an invitation for people to come together.  For Dom Pérignon he has crafted a limited-edition bottle, a candelabra box and a table-bar, elevating champagne tasting to a ritual, also showcased during the evening.

The iconic Dom Pérignon label is elevated by borrowing from the craft of goldsmiths to work hammered metal on the surface of the shield, creating a patina that lends the metal an inalterable contemporary vibe. Limited editions of the Vintage 2008 and Rosé Vintage 2006 will be released with this exceptional shield.

Lenny Kravitz has also created a box for the Vintage 2008 magnum that transforms into a candelabra to complete the Dom Pérignon ritual and heighten the moment.  Inspired by snakeskin, the texture of the box and the grapevines engraved around the label of the bottle reveal the creative hand of an artist engaged with naturalist elements.

The masterpiece of the collection is a table-champagne bar. The sleek design sparks desire and invites a sensual transformation. The black lacquer table with brushed brass trim unfolds to reveal bottles of Dom Pérignon, glasses, and an ice bucket in the center. Design is a source of emotion, continuing a story written with each tasting.
