CEW announces the 2019 Beauty Awards winners

On Friday 26 April, at the prestigious London Hilton on Park Lane, CEW members, guests and press gathered to celebrate the winners of the 2019 CEW Beauty Awards. Presented by Lucy Horobin, the Awards ceremony saw 31 winning brands collecting their highly coveted Lalique statuette as well as celebrating the prestigious CEW Beauty Awards seal on their winning products. Noteworthy brands who won a 2019 award were Charlotte Tilbury, Drunk Elephant, The Handmade Soap Company and Elemis.

With Amazon Beauty and Sainsbury’s as the headline sponsors, the Awards this year received just under 300 entries across 31 categories.

Key highlights from this year’s 2019 CEW Beauty Awards

The Responsible Beauty Award sponsored by Givaudan was a new addition to the 2019 Beauty Award categories and saw The Handmade Soap Company as the winner. The Handmade Soap Company pride themselves on their products being 99.7% natural. As well as this, The Handmade Soap Company won two other awards within the ‘Best Hand or Food Product – Mass & Prestige’ category and ‘Best New Brand – Mass’.

ELEMIS saw four outstanding wins – being awarded the prestigious seal of approval in ‘Best New Targeted Skincare – Prestige’, ‘Best New Mask – Prestige’, ‘Best Beauty Icon – Prestige’ and ‘Best New Vegan Beauty Product – Mass & Prestige’.
