Ruinart is thrilled to announce Jonathan Anderson, Creative Director and Founder of JW Anderson and Creative Director of LOEWE, as the visionary behind Hotel 1729, a one-bedroom hotel appearing in Notting Hill, London, from the 4th-14th July 2019.
Anderson, who shares Ruinart’s commitment to the arts and craftmanship will express the fascinating and storied history of the world’s first champagne house, established in 1729, through a contemporary lens. Guests will be welcomed into the artistic and exceptional world of Ruinart to be inspired, dine and dream, for one night only.
Having explored the house of Ruinart in Reims, Champagne, Anderson will draw inspiration from the vineyards, cellars, and iconic cuvées of the Maison, blending the history of Ruinart with his visionary creative.
