Oris joins forces with Movember for the second year in a row to bring positive change to men’s lives
For the second year running, Oris has partnered with The Movember Foundation to create a limited edition watch in support of men’s health.
Earlier this week Oris hosted press from Europe at a private event at Carousel in London, to celebrate the partnership and new timepiece. As part of its support this year, Oris also introduced the Oris Movember crew; a global movement led by a trio of incredible men whose work is changing men’s lives all over the world.
Dr Johannes Wimmer, Miguel Gutierrez (The Nomad Barber) and Scott Poynton were joined by Oris Chairman Ulrich W. Herzog and Sarah Coghlan, Global Director of Men’s Health Promotion Programmes, Movember Foundation on a panel discussing the importance of men’s health and how each of their roles in society is helping men all over the world. The panel was moderated by Jasmine Hemsley, who also curated the menu for the evening.
Through the Oris Movember Crew and sales of the new Oris Movember Edition, Oris has set a goal of raising CHF 100,000 for the charity this autumn.
Oris is inviting customers, partners, journalists and friends of the brand to join us. Whether you grow a ‘Mo’, take part in a shave-down or buy the watch, there’s a part for everyone to play. Oris, one of the few remaining independent Swiss watch companies, first worked with Movember in 2017 as part of its vision to bring change for the better and to behave in a socially, economically and ecologically responsible way. Last year, Oris raised CHF 45,000 for the charity, a figure it aims to more than double in 2018.
