Richard Anderson’s launches their Cheviot range
January marks the first of three trunk shows to the United States scheduled this year for Savile Row tailor, Richard Anderson. To celebrate the first of their trips to the US, Richard Anderson will be bringing a selection of new Cheviot wool cloths to share with their American clients.
The team at Richard Anderson have always admired the virtues and character of Cheviot wool and have introduced a variation to their customers across the globe. Now they have sourced a beautiful, medium-weight wool worsted travelling suiting that, with wonderful handle, resistance to creasing and durability, is a natural choice for those of us who enjoy travel.
The natural fibre comes from the Cheviot sheep which needs to grow a coat suitable to protect it from the wild winter climates it is exposed to in North Northumberland and the Scottish boarders.
Available in a wealth of shades, it is ideal for making up as a suit or blazer. The brilliant cobalt blue (above/below) shows the character and richness of this great fabric and how well it takes colour. This cobalt blue version provides a bright twist on the more traditional navy blues which are found in every wardrobe. Richard Anderson believe that this latest cloth will be as popular across the pond as it has proved to be in the UK.
